The Education and Career Action Plan was implemented for all Arizona students grades 9-12. This plan reflects a student’s current plan of coursework, career aspirations, and extended learning opportunities in order to develop the student’s individual academic and career goals.

Students are encouraged to complete their plans with their parents during the workshops. Please sign up for one of these nights to learn about what ECAP is, create an account, and get acquainted with your 10th grade 2019 cohort!

More details will be available as the workshop series dates get closer. Please register for one of the evenings, only 16 spaces available each evening.

Student Led Conference night allows each students to present their class portfolios for the year to their parents. It is a great opportunity for reflection on the student’s progress throughout their time at FALA.

Student Led Conferences are Tomorrow – April 18th!

Fala will be on a DELAYED START schedule with classes beginning at 10am.

SLC will begin at 5 and end promptly at 7.

A few things to know about the conference:

-Your student will take you through their schedule at your own pace, there will be no bells but a 2 hour window to view all classes. Your student should sign in at every class after viewing the portfolio.

-This time is for your student to explain their classes and progress to parents and guardians through the use of portfolios developed throughout the year. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to reflect on their progress and assume ownership of their learning, as well as to share their accomplishments with you. We therefore strongly encourage you to attend!

-Teachers will be present but not directly involved in this process. If you have concerns about your student’s progress in a class, please email the teacher to request a conference. Teachers will not be having private conversations with parents and students during SLC.
