UPDATE: Our Senior Showcase will be held tonight in PLANET RIDER Space (use to be the old Goodwill warehouse) at 2225 N. Steve’s Blvd. It is off of E. Industrial south of tracks, across from Olsen’s Grain. We will have some balloons & signs out as well.
It is from 5-7 p.m. with performances, visual art exhibit,and refreshments. Come see what our seniors have done.

Be advised that the parking lot near CCA will be blocked off for demolition of the Art Barn, which is adjacent to CCA. The Sechrist parking lot will be available for parking for all CCA events.

Caps and gowns are $21.95 cash or check payable to FALA when you come in early May to pick up your gowns and caps.

Graduation Day schedule:

–Rehearsal from 4:30-5.

–Potluck at 5 p.m. expertly organized by Debbie Bodin. Thank you Debbie! Our potluck website is where you can sign up for the dish you will bring. If you have any questions for Debbie, you can email her at: info@falavolunteers.com or call 928.527.1677.

–The ceremony begins promptly at 6:15. Each senior is allotted 6 tickets because of space restrictions. We are asking juniors to volunteer with set up and clean up to earn service hours and to show their respect to the graduating seniors. The deadline to submit your photos and letters is April 30. Please adhere to this deadline so that we can make a meaningful ceremony.

Come join us for FALA’s 20th annual Open House on Wednesday, August 24th from 5:30-7:30. You can follow your student through their schedule, meet the teachers, and get a short introduction to their 2016-17 courses. We hope to see you there!
Open House schedule will begin with all A day classes, then B day classes:
1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 1B, 2B, 3B, 4B, Advisory, 0/5th hour
First bell will ring at 5:30. You will have 7 minutes in each class, with a 5 minute passing period between each class.

FALA’s first play of the year is rapidly approaching! A world premier directed by Mike Levin with original music by Chase Coleman. Through dance, music and theater, FALA Advanced Acting tell the story of a young woman in Roman Alexandria who struggles to share her gift for mathematics in a troubled time.

Saturday, September 24 @ 7 PM  & Sunday, September 25 @ 3 PMat Coconino Center for the Arts. As part of the Festival of Science, this is a free event.

7th grade SHARE Program parent information meeting

Our 7th grade cohort will be participating in the SHARE program (Sexual Health and Relationship Education) this year. Rachel Billowitz, the instructor, will be holding a parent information meeting on Sept 28th from 5:30-7:30 in room 16. We hope to see you there!
