Falamour receives top honors at 2020 NAU Jazz Madrigal Festival

The advanced choral ensemble at FALA, Falamour, performed at the NAU Jazz/Madrigal Festival, conducted by Mr. Eric Walden. Falamour received a 1 Superior, the highest possible rating as they sang two songs from their classes this semester:  My Funny Valentine and Cloudburst.

The adjudicators were members of The Real Group – a premiere a cappella quintet from Sweden: one of the best in the world for a long time. When Lisa Ostergren (of The Real Group) came on stage she said about My Funny Valentine, “It was so beautiful I almost cried.”
