FALA alumna Rebecca Helm, a 30-year-old postdoctoral student from Brown University who is working at at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, recently defended her dissertation on the evolution of jellyfish. In an article about her research, Helm says the big, seemingly unanswerable questions and the many unknowns about how life works grab her interest.
