HALLOWEEN COSTUME GUIDELINES
Hey FALA Ghost & Ghouls!
We have had many questions about what is appropriate, and school allowed, for Halloween costumes! Please read through our guidelines below:
FALA HALLOWEEN COSTUME GUIDELINES:
- NO fake weapons or anything that could be perceived as a weapon.
- NO drug or alcohol references.
- NO excessive gore/violence.
- NO costumes that completely obstruct the view of your face i.e. full face masks/helmets etc.
- IF you wear an inflatable costume, you may be asked to “deflate” upon entry to a classroom.
- PLEASE stay within the FALA dress code, which is listed below:
- Student attire and grooming must permit the student to participate in learning without posing a risk to the health or safety of any student or school district personnel.Students must wear clothing including both a shirt with pants or skirt, or the equivalent (for example dresses, leggings, or shorts) and shoes.Shoes: Shoes MUST be worn at ALL times while on campus, unless specific room requirements stipulate otherwise (e.g. dance room.) There is no moment where it is acceptable to be walking the halls or decks barefoot. Clothing must be suitable for all scheduled classroom activities, like dance, outdoor and/or other activities where unique hazards or specialized attire or safety gear is required.
Can’t wait to see all your costumes!! Halloween is a FALA favorite!!!
