This week is Teacher Appreciation week!
Here's a teacher spotlight on Elisa Reed, Ms. Reed, AKA Murray Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet & Aerial instructor.
I’m a professional Dancer and aerialist from Phoenix and I have a chihuahua named Luis who is the Dance Department rehearsal director.
What I love about FALA: I get to share my passion for dance, aerial, music and art everyday with awesome kids. I strive to provide what I was missing in my middle school/high school experience which was at a large public school in Phoenix.
A few favorite things:
favorite food : sushi
Favorite colors: purple, blue and green
Favorite Band: Jungle
Hobbies: rock climbing, skiing and anything on the water. I spend my summers and weekends exploring in nature.

This week is Teacher Appreciation week!
Here's a teacher spotlight on Lani Nallira, our high school social studies teacher!
"I am the High School School Social Studies Teacher at FALA. This is my second year here and I am excited for my third. I am not originally from Arizona but I have grown to love it over the past 6 years that I have been here. Teaching has been a dream of mine since 7th grade and I am so happy that I am living out my dream!
What I love about FALA: I love seeing my students excel in many areas. I love going to their performances because I get to see a side of them that I do not see in the classroom. Another thing that I love about teaching is seeing the effort and drive from a bunch of students. I can tell that they really care about what they are being taught. I can see this in their projects and how much detail they put into them.
A few favorite things:
My favorite color is lilac purple (obviously, looking at my room). My favorite singers are Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, Harry Styles, and Lauv (I am pretty basic lol). I love to dance and I take classes every week. Dance has been a passion of mine since I was about 5 years old. I love Italian and Mexican food the most but I am also a sucker for brownies and icecream. Another fun fact that people may already know, I am a proud Disney Adult hahah."
