FALA Awarded Neighborhood Sustainability Grant

FALA Awarded $7,500 City of Flagstaff Neighborhood Sustainability Grant

We are excited to announce that FALA has been awarded a $7,500 grant through the City of Flagstaff’s Neighborhood Sustainability program!

Additionally, we wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Chef Nancy McCulla of Simply Delicious Catering for her significant donation of kitchen equipment.

In alignment with our Project-Based Learning (PBL) Model and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, this initiative will:

• Build a classroom kitchen
• Enhance our campus garden spaces
  These efforts will help further connect food and cooking skills to culture, chemistry, and sustainability.

We are planning to launch this project in Q4. Stay tuned for updates on our PBL journey!
