FALA Will Have Classes on Thursday, 2/23 – Remote Learning
Dear FALA Community,
FALA will hold classes tomorrow remotely. Attached and below is the modified schedule. Please note that we are not trying to recreate a school day online. Students will have abbreviated instructional time with their teachers and then work independently. In the afternoon there are optional office hours for students to receive additional support, to check in with the academic counselor, or the mental health counselor.
We would like to offer optional, limited spots for students with special circumstances to come to campus. Please indicate if you are interested in this option here.
*Thursday is a B day
MORNING Schedule:
P0 – 8:00AM – 8:40 AM
P1 – 8:45 AM – 9:25 AM
P2 – 9:30 AM – 10:10 AM
– 20 MINUTE break –
P3 – 10:30 AM – 11:10 AM
P4 – 11:15 AM – 12:05 PM
P5 – 12:10 PM – 1:00 PM
Optional AFTERNOON Schedule:
P0 – 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
P1 – 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM
P2 – 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM
– No Break Included/Needed –
P3 – 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM
P4 – 3:00 PM – 3:30 PM
P5 – 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM
We recognize these are not ideal conditions. The weather forecast for Thursday night predicts another 7-11 inches likely limiting in person learning for another day. I am very concerned about losing two more school days and the disruption in learning for our students.
If you experience interruption in your Internet, students can call into Google classroom. Some teachers sent home hard copy work for students as well. Please call the school at (928) 779-7223 for any questions or technical issues.
